The common coal truck was a prolific sight throughout France, Germany and Eastern Europe throughout world war two and later. Unlike its bigger brothers (hopper cars) which were dedicated to supplying factories with coal, these coal trucks instead supplied thier contents to most of the small businesses and homes throughout Europe. These coal trucks would have been seen in most freight yards and sidings.
I have carefully designed this 3D to capture the essence of the
ubiquitous railway coal truck while also creating a model that is easy to
print, paint and assemble. The rail trucks are fully compatible
with Battlefront railway track and are printed in environmentally
friendly PLA plastic. You can purchase them either fully painted or
unpainted and unassembled.
The rail trucks can be purchased in two colour schemes and loaded with real coal, a set with 2x
marroon and 2x green or a set of 4 painted in classic, red oxide
primer. Alternatively, you can assemble and paint your own (I'll even provide the coal) or choose to
select the 3D printer STL option so you can print your own at
home.
We will e-mail you the .stl files (which can be loaded into your 3D
slicer program) in less than 2 working days. Please note, by purchasing
these files you agree to the following fair use terms. These files are
